Miasto Wroclaw

The City of Wroclaw is situated on the river Odra in lower Silesia. Being Poland’s
fourth biggest city, Wroclaw offers plenty of various cultural sights and activities. The
City of Wroclaw was announced European Capital of Culture 2016.

Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej (PISF)

The Polish Film Institute was established in 2005 when a new cinematography law was passed by the Polish parliament. It aims to create prolific conditions for Polish film culture, supports all forms of international collaborations and helps restore Polish cinema culture.

Auswärtiges Amt (AA)

The Federal Foreign Office is the foreign Ministry of the Republic of Germany, a federal agency responsible for both the country’s foreign politics and its relationship with the European Union. In the context of the program – Development of cooperation with civil society in the countries of the Eastern Partnership- the Federal Government promotes the necessary transformation and internal integration processes in the countries of the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and Russia.

Goethe-Institut Central and Eastern Europe

The Goethe-Institut is a non-profit German cultural association operating worldwide in promoting the study of the German language abroad and encouraging international cultural relations. The Goethe-Institut fosters knowledge about Germany by providing information on German culture, society and politics which includes the exchange of film, music, theatre and literature.

Stiftung für deutsch-polnische Zusammenarbeit (SDPZ) / Fundacja Wspolpracy Polsko-Niemieckiej (FWPN)

Since 1991 the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation makes it possible to carry out various projects for German and Polish Co-Organizers. The foundation is based in Warsaw, but all its issues are decided through equal co-determinants of German and Polish bodies.

Film- und Medienstiftung NRW

The film and media foundation of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is a film subsidization institute based in Duesseldorf. It supports the film and media industry in NRW or within NRW collaborations both culturally and economically.


The flagship brand of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute is Culture.pl – a national/state-funded cultural institution, whose mission is to build and promote the cultural dimension of the POLSKA brand, through active participation in international cultural exchange. Through the organization of high-quality initiatives and events in the fields of music, visual arts, theater, design and film, Culture.pl works to promote contemporary Polish culture in an international arena.
